Can you please brief us about the state of earth before the emergence of human race ? Malar placed a kind request to the Alien.

“Billions of years ago the Earth was a different place altogether, It was not having an atmosphere like as of today. You must be thankful to the Unicellular organisms that lived in the primeval sea that learned the art of photosynthesis and in the process had produced oxygen in surplus over a period of billions of years and that paved way for the multi cellular organisms – the plants , animals and you the humans to comfortably survive upon here”

“Wait – Are humans descendents from the heaven ? or Have the humans evolved from the unicellular organisms as suggested by Charles Darwin ?” You must answer this question point blank commanded Ariyaal.

“What do you think the word of God, that he created Earth in stages means to you?” comprehend deeply into what we say. Smartly replied the Alien.

“The plan by God to create oxygen out of the process of photosynthesis done by the unicellular organisms to feed themselves is marvelous” exclaimed  an Alien.

மனித இனத்தின் தோற்றத்திற்கு முன்னர் இப்புவியின் தன்மை மற்றும் அமைப்புற்றி ஏதேனும் விளக்க முடியுமா ?என்று மலர் வினவினாள்.

“பல பில்லியன் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் பூமியின் சூழ்நிலை முற்றிலும் வேறுவிதமாக இருந்தது,  இன்றிருக்கும் சூழல் போல அன்றில்லை. ஆதிகாலத்தில் கடலில் வாழ்ந்த ஒருசெல் உயிரினங்கள் ஒளிச்சேர்க்கை என்ற கலையினைக் கொண்டு, அதன் மூலம் பல  கோடி ஆண்டுகளாக  அதிக அளவில் ஆக்சிஜனை உருவாக்கி, தாவரங்கள், விலங்குகள், மனிதர்கள் என பலசெல் உயிரினங்களும்  தோன்ற வழி வகுத்த அந்த ஒருசெல் உயிரினங்களுக்கு  நீங்கள் நன்றி சொல்ல வேண்டும்.”

“பொறுங்கள் – மனிதர்கள் இறையாண்மையால் படைக்கப்பட்டவர்களா? அல்லது சார்லஸ் டார்வின் யூகித்தது போல ஒருசெல் உயிரினங்களில் இருந்து பரிணாம வளர்ச்சி அடைந்தவர்களா? இதற்கு நீங்கள் நேரிடையாகப் பதில் சொல்ல வேண்டும்” என்றுக் கட்டளையிட்டாள்  அறியாள் .

“ஆதியிலே தேவன்  இவ்வுலகையும் அதில் உள்ள உயிர்களையும் படிப்படியாகப் படைத்ததாகக் கூறியதைப் பற்றி என்ன நினைக்கிறீர்கள்?  நாம் சொல்வதை ஆழ்ந்து சிந்தியுங்கள்”, என்று புதிசாலித்தனமாக மறுமொழி கூறினார் வேற்றுக்கிரகவாசி.

“ஒருசெல் உயிரினங்கள் தங்கள் ஒளிச்சேர்க்கையின் மூலம் ஆக்சிஜனை உருவாக்கி தங்களுக்கே உணவளித்துக் கொள்ளும் வகையில் அமைத்த கடவுளின் திட்டம் மிகவும் மேன்மையானது” என்றும் வியந்தார் வேற்றுக்கிரகவாசி .

“பூமியின் மீது உங்களுக்கு அதீத அக்கறை ஏற்படக் காரணம் என்ன?”  வினவினாள் மலர்.

“இந்தப் பூமி மிகவும் அழகானது, எல்லாம் வல்ல பரம்பொருள் நாங்கள் வசிக்க இதுபோன்ற இடமொன்றை எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கவில்லை, உங்களுக்குப் புரியாது இது, கடவுள் பேதம் பாராட்டி மனிதர்களுக்கு நல்லதோர் வசிக்குமிடம் அளித்துள்ளார்,” என்று வேற்றுக்கிரகவாசி குறைகூறினார்.

“புவியின் பழமையான மொழிகள் சார்ந்த ஆய்வுகள் மேற்கொள்ள நீங்கள் கிரேக்கதிற்கோ அல்லது எகிப்திற்கோ அல்லவா சென்றிருக்க வேண்டும், எதற்காக தென்னிந்தியாவில் இருக்கும் திருச்சிராப்பள்ளி்க்கு  வந்தீர்கள்?” என்றாள் மலர்.

“இரண்டு மறுக்க முடியாத உண்மைகள்,  உங்களது தமிழ் மொழியும் அதன் தொன்மையில்  மறைந்துள்ள பழங்கால அறிவுக் கருவூலங்களும்,  அத்துடன் எங்களது ஆர்வத்தைத் தூண்டும் தமிழர்களின் M130 மரபணுவுமே எங்களை இங்கு கொண்டு வந்த காரணங்கள் …” என்றார் வேற்றுக்கிரகவாசி.

“What drives you to show affection on Earth?”asked Malar.

“Earth is a beautiful place, we were not given such a nice home by God, the almighty. God has shown bias towards humans” that’s a different case beyond your preview complained the Alien.

“For you to conduct research amongst the oldest languages in planet earth you should be constructing your secret laboratory around Greece and Egypt - what brings you here to Tiruchirappalli in Southern India ? asked Malar.

“2 undeniable factors - The Tamil Language and the hidden treasures of its past and the Fascinating M130 gene of the Tamils - bring us all the way unto here” replied the Alien.

“What will be the impact of your report on Human beings and planet Earth ?” asked Ariyaal.

“The worst case scenario will be that - If our superiors conclude that humans are extremely  dangerous to be allowed to live - we may wage a war once and for all and terminate your species altogether for the betterment of other planets” the alien made a shocking revelation.

“‘Do you have the capability to do that?” asked Ariyaal

“Sure - We have weapons which have the capacity to generate sound waves with extremely high potency, such that it could rip your planet into pieces - but the religious elders in our planet restrain us from proceeding with such acts, as they still have great regards for the human beings and planet Earth"

Actually they have spearheaded this project which would allow Humans to reinvent and retrospect to the Great Hidden Morality and Science written in the oldest languages in Earth” replied the Alien.

“நீங்கள் உங்கள் உலகத்துக்கு அனுப்பும் அறிக்கையானது பூமியின்மீதும் மனித இனத்தின் மீதும் எவ்வகையான தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்த முடியும்?" என்று அலட்சியமாக கேட்டாள் அறியாள்.

“மிக மோசமான விளைவு என்று சொல்லவேண்டுமென்றால், எங்களது தலைமை இனியும்  மனிதர்களை வாழவிடுவது மிகவும் ஆபத்தானது என்ற முடிவுகட்டினார்கள் என்றால், நாங்கள்  மற்றவர்களின்  (மற்ற உலகங்களில் வாழும் உயிர்கள்) நன்மையைக் கருதி  மனிதர்கள் மீது இறுதியானதொரு போர் தொடுத்து மனித இனத்தையே ஒரேயடியாக அடியோடு அழிக்க வேண்டியிருக்கும்" என்ற அதிர்ச்சி தரும் செய்தியை வெளியிட்டார் வேற்றுக்கிரகவாசி.

“உங்களுக்கு அதைச் செய்யும் திறன் இருக்கிறதா?” என்று கேட்டாள் அறியாள்.

“நிச்சயமாக இருக்கிறது, எங்களிடம் மிக அதிக சக்தி வாய்ந்த ஒலி அலைகளை உருவாக்கி அதன் மூலம் இந்தப் பூமியைத்  தூள் தூளாக்கும் திறன் கொண்ட ஆயுதம் உட்படப் பல ஆயுதங்கள் உள்ளன" 

ஆனால் எங்கள் கிரகத்தின்  மதத் தலைவர்கள் மனித இனத்தின் மீதும் உலகத்தின் மீதும் அதிக மதிப்பு வைத்திருப்பதால் எங்களைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தி, “நாம் மனிதர்களை  அவர்களது  புவியின் மிகப் பழமையான மொழிகளில் எழுதப்பட்டு  மறைபொருளாக அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்ட நன்நெறிகளையும், அறிவியலையும் மீள்பார்வை செய்து தங்களை மாற்றிக் கொள்ள ஒரு வாய்ப்பளிப்போம்" என்று கருதி  இந்த திட்டத்தை முன்வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள்,” என்று பதிலளித்தார் வேற்றிக்கிரகவாசி.

“21st Century Approach to Ancient Tamil Literature, Purananooru – the beginning”

   We, the part of the human race living at the initial segment of the 21^st century, and descendants of one of the most ancient of human civilizations – the Tamils are currently gliding across an unprecedented form of crossroad. Unfortunately, a belittling approach towards Classical Tamil Literary works has forced itself into the thought process of the younger generation – a similar scenario faced by other classical languages as well. We need to counter; we need to develop innovative strategies to bridge the unhealthy divide that has developed between our past and future.

The Philocine module of Medical and Health Education was constructed based upon the principle portrayed by the Evolutionary Biologist Sir.Charles Darwin that “the constant struggle that exists between various life forms also holds true for languages, and for the words in it as well; the Better, the Shorter, the Easier forms will gain an upper hand over others”, this fascinating concept forms the core of the Philocine learning module.

  Mining the scientific wisdom embedded in ancient literary works in classical languages like the Purananooru in Tamil is a highly potential area for modern research. Critically analyzing and enumerating the scientific insights embedded in it is an important task.  The module of mixing science and literature during lectures has always been existent but it was unorganized and pushed to the tail end, but Philocine reiterates this style a dedicated system of its own. 

APPLICATIONS:

        The 400 individual songs placed in the collection denoted by the term “Purananooru” can be used one by one to elaborate about the fundamental scientific concepts across various scientific disciplines.  Scientific Insights embedded in the Purananooru can be critically analyzed word by word. Extreme care is to be taken during the process of analysis to remove bias in the interpretation process. E- Learning utilizing the free video hosting services like the you tube via Educational videos explaining the Ancient Literature in intricate details admixed with scientific facts can be created and be made accessible to the students and the common man as a medium of intervention to nullify the unhealthy changes in the attitude of the generation next towards ancient Tamil Literature.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:

          Philocine module admixes literature with science and delicately explores the option of imparting science and technology to the students using literature as a tool; the advantages of the Philocine style to the Tamil language are manyfold.

[1] This ultimately creates a generation of Tamil students endowed with high quality scientific acumen and at the same time oriented to the ancient roots of the great Tamil culture.

[2] This will enable the formation of Integrated Medical Linguistic Research units involving teams of medical professionals and Language scholars across the Universities of the World.

[3] Emergence of a new branch in medical education, Philocine – The Philosophical Aspect of Medicine and its establishment as a sub speciality of its own.

[4] The outlook and expectations of the modern-day Tamil youth towards classical Tamil Literature will get a radical change and outlook for betterment.

[5] This will form the foundation of establishing Tamil as the “Most Scientifically qualified and oriented of all the classical languages” an attribute well deserved by Tamil.

[6] Establishing the idea that science can be learned via ancient Tamil texts, will obviously enhance the self esteem levels of Tamil students and this will increase their learning potentials.

[7] The classical literary works crafted at the dawn of the human civilizations traverse through the frontiers of neurology, the arenas when explored leads to the world of Neurobehavioural Evolution.

[8] The study material generated in Tamil during the course of the research in fields like Psychophysiology will establish Tamil to gain the status as the first and only Indian Regional Language to be equipped so.

TECHNICAL CONTRIBUTIONS:

    Multiple goals spanning from Regional Language development to priming the masses towards the traditional roots and awareness to scientific concepts - all can be accomplished by this Innovative E-Learning methodology, this module can be gradually expanded to other literary works in other classical languages of the world’s great ancient civilizations.

  This and the series of articles that follow are drafted based upon the concept of "Philocine".
